Bar Bet is a restaurant & bar located in Utrecht, housed in a building with a rich history.

The venue is divided into two distinct areas and was thoughtfully designed to enhance openness, connection and flow. The main bar on the ground floor forms the heart of the restaurant. It naturally draws people together and creates a welcoming, open atmosphere. Surrounded by a mix of high and low tables placed close to one another, the layout feels accessible and informal.

Reused materials and furniture such as wooden chairs and the old brick wall are well combined with the new terrazzo bar & the warm red color which embraces you when you enter the hallway. By using reused materials and furniture this revived bar strikes the perfect balance between old fashioned and warmly familiar.

The red color creates a strong connection between the ground floor and the 1st floor where the kitchen is located. This floor is designed to be a continuity of the bar area, with flexible seats to create plenty of possibilities for groups.
