Bar Bet is a restaurant & bar located in Utrecht in a building with a great history.

The venue is divided into two distinct areas. The main bar on the floor level is the centerpiece of the restaurant where everyone gathers around and gives the place a welcoming open vibe. The bar is surrounded by small high and low tables close to each other which creates an accessible atmosphere. Reused materials and furniture such as wooden chairs and the old brick wall are well combined with the new terrazzo bar & the warm red color which embraces you when you enter the hallway. 

The red color creates a strong connection between the ground floor and the 1st floor where the kitchen is located. This floor is designed to be a continuity of the bar area, with flexible seats to create plenty of possibilities for groups. 

By re-used materials and furniture this revived bar strikes the perfect balance between old fashioned and warmly familiar.
